Our annual intergenerational celebration we call Stone Salad is held the Sunday before Thanksgiving, this year on November 22.

We are asking those whose last names begin with the following letters of the alphabet to bring various items for the salad:

A through H – Salad items (other than greens) that are sliced or cut, such as nuts, cheese, and assorted vegetables. NO meat please.

I through Z - Salad greens, which have been washed and cut up or torn.

To add to the festivities and complete the meal, we are also asking you to bring various other items:

A through H – Salad dressings.

Originally planned for the fall, we've moved the Ethics and Star Trek discussions to early 2010 to take advantage of the availability of the Lounge space at Green Hedges Arts Building. More later, but hold the dates if you're interested in this look at ethical issues as addressed in Star Trek (series and movies). Jone Johnson Lewis will lead the sessions with some film clips and discussion starters.
