"Why Peace?" -- Jone Johnson Lewis, NoVES Leader

The United Nations has celebrated September 21 as an International Day of Peace [1] since 1982. It sounds almost trite to be for "peace on earth" -- sort of like a Miss America speech. Why do we want peace? What kind of peace?
