"Nonviolence" may seem like a remote concept, reserved for the realm political struggle. We're not violent people -- what relevance could the concept of nonviolence have to us? Yet, the seeds of violence are pervasive in our culture, and in each of our lives. What would it mean to re-examine a fundamental premise of how we live? Could we change the world, and our individual experiences of it? If you are up for a dynamic discussion, spend some time this Sunday with a certified trainer with the Center for Nonviolent Communication, a member of the Washington Ethical Society, and a holder of a Ph.D. in Applied Physics from Stanford University.
