My name is Amy and I've been a member of NoVES since 1997 when my husband and I started looking for a Sunday School for our then 3-year-old daughter. We now have two kids in the Sunday School program.

In addition to being a wife and mother, I am also a therapist with Fairfax County Mental Health Services. I practice play therapy with abused, neglected and traumatized children, ages 0 to 6. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with a master's in counseling psychology; I also have a master's in ethics from Yale Divinity School. In my spare time I bake bread (I've just tackled sour dough breads); walk my dog; and reread the Harry Potter books with alarming frequency.
